Buy.com is selling an Acer eMachines Desktop Computer for $299.99 shipped. This computer comes with a 20-Inch Widescreen LCD with built in speakers. It also comes with an AMD Athlon 2650e processor, 1.6GHz of speed, 1GB of RAM, 160GB of storage space, a 18x DVD±R/RW disk drive, NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE graphics card, and a copy Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition.

While this is not a top of the line computer, at this price this would be a great computer for young kids, families who don't need a computer that can run the video games - just need a computer which will allow them to get on the internet, check email, type up papers, etc. Those who are a little more tech savvy can also find use in this computer as a great little baseline computer that they could then upgrade.
